Why do you charge a listing fee?

Running Eclectiq at the level of quality we aim for requires consistent financial support. That’s why we charge a listing fee—it helps us maintain and improve the platform while also protecting the community.
The fee serves a dual purpose: it supports our operations and discourages spam and fraudulent listings, allowing our team to focus on genuine users and streamline verification.
We’ve kept the fee competitive to ensure Eclectiq remains a valuable and affordable option for serious buyers and sellers.

What happens if I order from the UK or Switzerland?
Answer:
When ordering a watch from the UK or Switzerland, VAT and duty fees may apply, as these are non-EU countries. With our Secure Transfer service, the watch is first shipped to our Prague headquarters, where Czech import laws apply—typically 21% VAT and 9% duty on items over €120.
This setup often results in lower fees compared to other EU countries. Plus, we take care of the customs process for you, making the experience smooth and hassle-free.

When will I get paid?
Answer:
When selling with our Secure Transfer service, your watch is carefully authenticated and checked against your listing. Once the buyer confirms everything is in order, we release your full payment—guaranteed within 10 working days of receiving your watch.

Who covers shipping costs?
Answer:
With Secure Transfer, the seller covers shipping to our headquarters, and the buyer covers delivery from us to their address. If you choose not to use this service, shipping costs are left to the buyer and seller to agree on directly.
Question:
What if my watch does not pass the inspection?
Answer:
If a watch you send is found to be fake or doesn’t match its description—resulting in a canceled sale—we’ll refund the buyer in full. To have the watch returned, you’ll need to cover return shipping and a service fee for our expert evaluation.

How do I create a listing?
Answer:
Listing on Eclectiq is simple: download the app, register, get verified, add your watch details and photos, pay the listing fee, and wait for approval. Once live, you can edit or remove your listing anytime.
